About Holly
Our Holly is a bright, beautiful, thirteen year old girl who was diagnosed with a tumor when she was eleven. She endured 16 months of chemo to try and stop the tumor from growing; she experienced all the affects of having these treatments. It was heart breaking being so helpless watching our beautiful girl, wafer thin, carrying her bucket, trying on wigs, and wanting to just have the strength to play like the rest of her friends.
The doctors have determined that they can no longer do anything for our girl. They have decided to try and get her in a special study that deals strictly with her type of tumor. If she does not qualify for the study, her parents were advised that they could not afford the medicine on their own. Please pray that she will be allowed in this trial study.
Having a major illness in any family can wreak havoc on a family budget. Insurance companies only pay so much and the family is left with the rest. Thousands of dollars in medical bills remain outstanding with some already in collections. Thus, we are selling these candy bars to help with expenses.
